Hockey canada and Nike unveil new team Canada jersey
Ahead of the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championships in #toronto and Montreal, Hockey #canada and #nike unveil the new Team #canada hockey jersey with #nike Swift technology.
The jersey debuts at Hockey Canada’s National Teams’ Summer Showcase, running from July 26 to August 6, and will be worn by the men’s, women’s, junior and national sledge hockey teams representing #canada.
Nike Swift technology allows for a jersey body that enhances mobility, reduces weight (it is the lightest jersey ever worn at the IIHF tournament) and helps minimize distractions while enduring fast and physical play.
The #canada 150 logo, composed of a series of four diamonds that represent the country's four original provinces and form the shape of the iconic Maple Leaf, sits on the jersey sleeves and celebrates the Confederation's sesquicentennial. Further embellishment to the sleeves comes by way of the return of the Canadian national jersey's classic double stripe.
The new Team #canada jersey is available August 2 at #nike.com, HockeyCanada.ca/Shop and Canadian retailers.
