Nespresso intensifies permanent Lungo range with Envivo Lungo

A new, intense Lungo to enliven the senses
The first sip of coffee in the morning is a moment of sheer pleasure. To make that moment last, #nespresso invites coffee lovers to savour the sumptuous and unique flavour of its newest and most intense Lungo in the permanent Grand Cru range: Envivo Lungo.
Sumptuous body and unique flavour
With an intensity of 9 on the scale of 1 to 12, Envivo Lungo stimulates the senses thanks to its potent and generous character. This long-cup Grand Cru is a dark, split-roasted blend of distinctive Arabica from India with a Robusta from Mexico. In cup, it reveals caramelised notes reminiscent of aromatic dry wood and gingerbread, followed by an intense and pleasant aftertaste.
Alexis Rodriguez, Head of Coffee Development at #nespresso commented, “We carefully crafted Envivo Lungo with a high proportion of Robusta coffee beans to produce a strong, full-bodied coffee. We specifically use washed Robusta, which gives a more refined taste to deliver a final product that is strong but without any harshness on the palate.”
A morning coffee that marries perfectly with milk
When creating this new Grand Cru, #nespresso coffee experts were inspired by the traditional morning coffee that many consumers savour with milk in a longer serving size. Envivo Lungo thus combines perfectly with milk, maintaining its distinctive flavour for a bold and deliciously rich start to the day.
Enjoyed as a Lungo Macchiato, with a touch of milk froth, Envivo Lungo becomes rounder while keeping its intense character. As a Latte Macchiato, combined with the smoothness of milk froth, it expresses softened woody notes while developing round, indulgent and buttery aromatics.
