Frag is presenting Popit Pop-Up in the inspiring setting of the Olivieri Brera showroom in Largo Treves 2, with a selection of distinctive, ironic and eclectic items. Popit Pop-Up will be on display from 3 to 17 December.
The stars of the display are the Popit poufs designed by Analogia Project, iconic items reinterpreted by 5 designers who work alongside Frag: Ferruccio Laviani, Alessandro Dubini, Busetti Garuti Redaelli, Mist-o, and the Analogia Project team itself. They were given carte blanche to interpret these items in their own individual styles.
The result – 5 brand new designs of unique brilliance: Ferruccio Laviani plays with splashes of colour, as if on a blank canvas; Alessandro Dubini displays Celtic inspiration, transforming the Popit into a “Highlander Pouf” with liberal use of tartan; and Busetti Garuti Redaelli pay tribute to Frag’s leatherworking skills with a display of tools used in the craft, shown in a bell jar. The Mist-o offering is inspired by nature, with a delicate brass leaf supported on a slender stem to provide protection from rain or sun, while Analogia Project takes its cue from the animal kingdom with a creation featuring two long horns and aptly named ‘My Deer’.
In October Frag embarked upon a collaboration which is bringing selected creations to the Olivieri Brera showrooms, the shop window of the company, which specialises in systems for both the living and sleeping areas. The showrooms will exhibit a number of products from the Frag catalogue, including classics, best sellers and an appealing range of new items.
