The leading suppliers and buyers from world motorsport will be at the NEC, #birmingham this coming January for the 26th edition of Autosport International.

The event attracts a diverse array of companies from the high performance engineering and motorsport sectors and has played an influential role in driving business in the motorsport sector for over 25 years. In 2016, it will host over 600 exhibitors from five different continents on two dedicated trade days between 14-15 January.

Autosport International remains Europe’s foremost platform for suppliers of technical motorsport products and services to showcase the latest cutting edge technology to over 27,000 registered trade visitors – over 5,000 of which expected to attend from outside the UK.

Market leaders such as Bosch, Brembo, Eibach, Öhlins Racing, Quaife Engineering, Ricardo, M-Sport, Sadev and Williams Advanced Engineering are just a few of the companies that will be represented at the show in January.

In addition to witnessing the sport’s latest developments, the show will give business professionals and decision makers the opportunity to establish new relationships with both local and international businesses on the eve of the new season.

A diverse array of suppliers from the USA, China, Australia, India, Hong Kong, France, Sweden, Italy and Germany will be attending the show to network with companies and professionals from Britain and overseas. The global nature of the show is testament to the UK’s reputation as a leader and hub for engineering excellence.

Ian France, Show Director, Autosport International, said: “With exhibitors from Asia, North America, Europe and Australasia, Autosport International is living up to its status as a truly international exhibition and trade show for the motorsport industry.

“Companies looking to expand their businesses both nationally and internationally choose Autosport International as the only place where they can connect with likeminded individuals from all around the world. Such is the influence of the show, it generates over £1bn worth of global business each year thanks to its dedicated B2B environment.”

As part of the extended range of network events and business-focused activities, the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) will also be running a number of workshops at Autosport International to connect buyers and suppliers of motorsport technology, alongside the International Business Lounge and MIA Business Excellence Awards Dinner (held after the first trade day at Autosport International on the evening of 14 January).

Chris Aylett, CEO of the MIA, said: “Our association has seen a 57% increase in the number of international members in the past two years. The motorsport industry, which is based in the UK, is a global leader, and our organization is committed to maintaining this status. In addition to the MIA’s planned schedule of workshops taking place at the show, Autosport International provides an excellent platform for our members to further their own business interests both at home and abroad.”

From Germany, BBS Motorsport will showcase its latest and most advanced wheel design yet at Autosport International – the ultralight FI-R. The new-for-2016 FI-R has been engineered to deliver maximum stability and minimum weight for superior performance on road or out on track.

Aurora Bearing Company from Illinois, USA, is making the journey to the NEC in #birmingham in January.
