Paris, France -  Only a few weeks after it was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Prius is proudly on display at Le Rendez-Vous #toyota, the brand’s flagship #showroom located on the renowned Champs-Élysées in Paris. The latest generation of the world’s most sold hybrid car is the first application of Toyota’s all-new TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) development philosophy, which allows the Prius to deliver much improved styling and driving dynamics, whilst achieving its strongest environmental performance yet with average fuel consumption of only 3.0 l/100 km and CO2 emissions as low as 70 g/km[1]. Alongside Prius is the new RAV4 Hybrid which is available in 2WD and AWD versions. It marries dynamic styling, premium interior quality, ingenious packaging and versatility with a full hybrid powertrain, offering customers improved driving feel for an even more sophisticated driving experience. On sale in Europe since September[2], the Mirai uses hydrogen as a source of fuel to generate the power needed to drive its motor while emitting only water. It combines superior environmental performance with a cruising range similar to a gasoline engine vehicle and a refuelling time of roughly three minutes. The sustainable mobility display is completed with the i-ROAD and COMS; two compact electric vehicles which offer an insight into Toyota’s vision on future mobility. These Personal Mobility Vehicles (PMV) are part of the ‘Cité Lib by Ha:mo’ car share scheme in the French city of Grenoble. The three year project started in October 2014 and involves a total fleet of 70 i-ROAD and COMS vehicles. Le Rendez-Vous #toyota is also turning the spotlight on motorsports. The dedicated display includes the TS040 HYBRID, Toyota’s LMP1 prototype racer which won the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the superb TS020, also known as GT-One, and the MP11-Toyota Le Mans, a 2/3 scale replica of the TS040 Hybrid – built by the community organization Les Galapiats[3]. Visitors can also put their racing skills to the test in the two WEC and GT86 simulators, have their picture taken against customized backdrops (WEC, Galapiats, Arc de Triomphe and Christmas) or try out the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, while children can take part in the #toyota Dream Car Art Contest. Located in Paris at 79 Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Le Rendez-Vous #toyota is open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm on Thursdays and Saturdays.
