Award-winning: ABT’s “Auto Bild Sportscar des Jahres“ victory
It was the 14th “AUTO BILD SPORTSCARS” poll that had taken place on the occasion of the Essen Motor Show “Race Night” on November 27th 2015. ABT Sportsline, the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group, was one of the winners with its ABT Audi #s1 Sportback. The magazine’s readers voted in 18 categories in all.
The trendy and sporty Audi #s1 Sportback has considerably been upgraded by ABT Sportsline, but that wasn’t the only reason why it won in the “compact car tuning” category. Springs (suspension lowered by 30mm), the right wheels - DR, ER-C or Z in 18’’ - and fender inserts make the set-up perfect and turn the Audi into an all-rounder. The ABT POWER New Generation has increased the #s1 Sportback’s horsepower by 34%, from 231 (170 kW) to 310 (228 kW)! And torque is up from 370 Nm, now standing at a fantastic 440 Nm. Furthermore, a rear muffler consisting of stainless steel with black chromed tail pipes (90 mm Ø) takes over the discharge of the exhaust gases.
