Courmayeur meets Maserati: two iconic Italian names have joined forces as partners for the first time, to promote the images of their brands, both internationally famous in the luxury market
the Jardin de l’Ange, the elegant venue in the heart of via Roma, the Courmayeur "shopping street", will be hosting the exquisite Maserati Winter Lounge. The exclusive Modena-based car-maker's "special touch" will provide the theme for the whole season: together, Maserati and Courmayeur will be promoting special events throughout the area, giving the Courmayeur winter a unique style. An ambitious programme springing from the shared values on which these two brands base their international success. In the collective imagination, Courmayeur and Maserati symbolise the intrinsic elegance of Italian style, which is immune to passing fashions and enjoys the status of a timeless ideal, the heir to a glorious tradition given a contemporary reinterpretation. Two icons that express a sophisticated lifestyle, which can be personalised to the wishes of a clientele who demand the very best. While Courmayeur offers made-to-measure hospitality, fitted to the guest's requirements like an elegant tailored garment and designed in response to his expectations and desires, Maserati conceives its models like haut couture fashion outfits, one-offs, which reflect the customer's passions and tastes down to the tiniest detail. In a world where we all tend to "dress the same", these brands aim to stand out by raising the concept of “tailor made” to its highest level. And there could be no better place to admire Courmayeur's new "winter collection" than the Maserati Winter Lounge: a prestigious showcase for the resort and the Maserati brand. The wood- built Jardin de l’Ange chalet, with its warm, welcoming ambience, will be exquisitely furnished in Maserati style. Inside, the comfortable lounge area will feature a Gallery Wall with historic and contemporary images relating to the two brands: a multi-purpose space for hosting events, meetings and discussions. An attractive, transparent porch structure will enable passers-by to enjoy a view of the Chalet from the exterior and invite them in to immerse themselves in the Maserati world. The elegance of the special “Maserati style” will bring added value to the events schedule of the Courmayeur winter season, at a time of year particularly rich in surprises and happenings that highlight the resort's many aspects of excellence: glamour, wining and dining, tradition and sports. Courmayeur and Maserati offer not just a product but rather a unique, customisable experience, that enables visitors to create the holiday of their dreams by combining their choice of the countless opportunities on offer. Maserati and Courmayeur will be focusing their activities on four main areas, in association with the local hospitality and entertainment industry: “Gourmet Experience”, featuring packages and weekends in luxury hotels, dinners in mountain refuges and gourmet dinners, “Music Experience”, with unplugged, pop, chamber and local traditional music concerts, “Sport and Wellness Experience”, including skiing, snow-shoe excursions and walks with the participation of Ambassadors including slalom champion Giorgio Rocca, and “Maserati Experience”. During the winter season, a number of test drive days will be organised to deliver personalised sessions at the wheel of the Maserati Ghibli executive sedan and Quattroporte limousine, with the professional drivers from Andrea De Adamich's Safe Driving School. The calendar will be completed by cultural events and debates, with the involvement of top commercial partners for the organisation of events and incentives in the surrounding area. The prestigious opening event will be held during the Winter Festival on 5 December, in the heart of the town's historic centre, on a resplendent via Roma where the partying will continue until late! Piazza Abbé Henry will be illuminated using video mapping, with the projection of beautiful, striking images on a Christmas theme. This multicoloured light show will be followed by the eagerly awaited countdown to the switching-on of the Town Christmas Tree, when more than 20 thousand fairy-lights will begin to shine in the dark.
