Formula E is delighted to announce that Maison Mumm is expanding its involvement with the championship and is now the Official Champagne Partner.
Mumm’s commitment to Formula E represents the continuation of its tradition of high-profile sporting partnerships, which began all the way back in 1904, when it supported Jean-Baptiste Charcot during the first French Antarctic expedition. Its current sponsorships include the Kentucky Derby horse race and, in sailing, the Hydroptère, the world’s fastest trimaran, both of which epitomise a drive to push the limits and experience the thrill of victory. Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag said: “We are delighted that a company with such a rich heritage as Maison Mumm has increased its involvement with the series and become an Official Partner. As well as ensuring that our VIP guests have a genuinely first-class experience, this partnership will perfectly complement our new podium ceremony and ensure that we create truly memorable Champagne moments at every race.” César Giron, Chairman and CEO of Maison Mumm, said: “We are extremely excited by this new global partnership. Not only do Mumm and Formula E share values of passion, innovation and a quest for excellence, but it is our ambition to bring the thrill of the celebration of victory to people across the world. Together with Formula E, Maison Mumm is committed – as it has always been – to driving the future.”
