Large order for #mercedesbenz Turkey: İmza Lojistik has updated its fleet with 400 #mercedesbenzactros 1844 LS trucks. The logistics company is using them to replace 300 vehicles from its existing fleet and also expand it by 100 new trucks. All 400 Actros trucks were produced at the Aksaray plant in Turkey, and are fitted with environmentally friendly Euro V technology. The first vehicles were already delivered in March this year, and the last trucks have just been handed over. This is the second major delivery of trucks to İmza Lojistik, as the company already took receipt of 300 #mercedesbenz trucks in 2013.

Turkey is the third most important market for #mercedesbenz Trucks in terms of unit sales, with around 18,350 vehicles sold there in 2014. #mercedesbenz Turkey was founded in Istanbul in 1967, and started producing buses for the Turkish market a year later. The Aksaray plant launched #truck production in 1986, and over the years has developed into the region's largest employer. Today around 1,800 workers are employed at the Aksaray plant. Numerous variants of the trucks are produced, and most are sold in Turkey. #mercedesbenz Turkey is the leader in its domestic market for trucks over six tons, a position it has maintained for more than 13 years.
