Large Order for Mercedes-Benz Trucks in Turkey: 400 Actros Added to Turkish Logistics Fleet

#mercedesbenz Turkey delivers 400 Actros 1844 LS trucks to İmza Lojistik
• Vehicles fitted with environmentally friendly Euro V technology
#mercedesbenz market leader for heavy-duty trucks in Turkey
• Trucks produced at plant in Aksaray since 1986

Large order for #mercedesbenz Turkey: İmza Lojistik has updated its fleet with 400 #mercedesbenzactros 1844 LS trucks. The logistics company is using them to replace 300 vehicles from its existing fleet and also expand it by 100 new trucks. All 400 Actros trucks were produced at the Aksaray plant in Turkey, and are fitted with environmentally friendly Euro V technology. The first vehicles were already delivered in March this year, and the last trucks have just been handed over. This is the second major delivery of trucks to İmza Lojistik, as the company already took receipt of 300 #mercedesbenz trucks in 2013.
"We aim to offer our customers the right vehicle for every application, and win them over with quality, economy, and reliability. For us, the satisfaction of our customers is the greatest praise. I am proud that we are now adding another 400 #mercedesbenzactros trucks to the fleet of İmza Lojistik," said Süer Sülün, Head of Sales and Marketing at #mercedesbenz Turkey.
"In addition to the low costs of ownership and fuel consumption, the high-powered engines of the #mercedesbenzactros trucks were what clinched it for us," said Ömer Esen, CEO of İmza Lojistik. "Our company has been using #mercedesbenz trucks for three years now. With these new vehicles, we are hoping to continue expanding our successful and rapidly growing business."
About #mercedesbenz Turkey and the Aksaray plant

Turkey is the third most important market for #mercedesbenz Trucks in terms of unit sales, with around 18,350 vehicles sold there in 2014. #mercedesbenz Turkey was founded in Istanbul in 1967, and started producing buses for the Turkish market a year later. The Aksaray plant launched #truck production in 1986, and over the years has developed into the region's largest employer. Today around 1,800 workers are employed at the Aksaray plant. Numerous variants of the trucks are produced, and most are sold in Turkey. #mercedesbenz Turkey is the leader in its domestic market for trucks over six tons, a position it has maintained for more than 13 years.
