A new image for Prada in Busan

Prada celebrates the reopening of its recently expanded and renovated store inside the prestigious Lotte Main department store in #busan, South Korea.

The space, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, covers a total area of 270 square metres on a single level and houses the women’s and men’s leather goods, accessories and footwear collections.

The façade inside the mall is characterised by strips of black Marquinia marble framing the two entrances, the large display windows and the light boxes.

The corner entrance, defined by the signature black-and-white marble chequered flooring – a legacy of Prada’s identity worldwide – opens up on an area hosting the women’s leather goods and accessories collections. From here, a portal leads to a more intimate space, dedicated to the footwear collections.

The entire area devoted to women is defined by green fabric-clad walls with cut-in polished steel and crystal display niches. Green velvet sofas welcome customers in an elegant and refined atmosphere.

The second entrance opens up on an area displaying the men’s leather goods, accessories and footwear collections. The space wields masculine materials and finishes: ebony floorboards and walls and cotto-coloured leather sofas. Display counters with polished steel and crystal detailing complete the furnishing.
