BEIJING, September 1, 2011 – Moët & Chandon, the champagne of success and glamour since 1743, today celebrated the breathtaking flight of its champagne cork-shaped hot air balloon, The Spirit of 1743, above the Great Wall of China in Beijing. The balloon’s first voyage in China, the flight also kicked off the “Tribute to the Spirit of 1743,” a grand event that celebrates Moët’s first arrival in the country, exactly one century after the House’s founding. The sensational montgolfier, whose mere presence has become the signal of a dazzling event, now proceeds to the fabulous Moët celebrations in Shanghai, and launches its second worldwide tour...
