NEW: Space Frames by Studio Mieke Meijer

During the Salone del Mobile in Milan Studio Mieke Meijer presented Space Frames: light fixtures based on archetypical architectural elements such as arcs, columns, trusses and plates. The Space Frames are made from lightweight wooden structures enclosed by a textile cover. | ||||
The series of objects can be positioned freely, in unpredictable and thought-provoking compositions. The arrangements of the separate objects create an interaction with the surrounding space.

The exhibition in Milan was a duo-presentation with Studio Jeroen Wand. The title Maybe blue would have been better referred to the process of making something which is full of dilemmas, questions and decisions. Press images can be downloaded on our website Maybeblue.net or download directly.
