Continuing the ‘Pink Beach’ story for #adidas #originals = #pharrellwilliams SS16, on May 12th a wider collection will be available, the range will offer a full summer wardrobe bearing Williams’ illustrated icons for adults and kids alike. Inspired by soulful, luminous vibes from sunny island spirit the collection brings to life Pharrell’s passion for music, art and #fashion seamlessly combined with the #originals spirit.
For women the collection offers beautiful printed bikinis inspired by Island forests, a delicate chiffon tracktop and a stunning 'Artist Poncho' fashioned from water-resistant laminated mesh emblazoned with the iconic #adidas three-stripe motif. For men vibrant printed shirts and shorts, as well as playing with iconic silhouettes such as the trefoil tee and varsity jacket.
Classic trefoil tees and tanks as well as exciting new silhouettes such as the Hawaiian shirt and culottes are endowed with a uniquely playful and vibrant print of doodles, words, moods, vibes to create one amazing all over print coming from Pharrell’s own imagination, sense’s and personal feelings. Other garments feature a frequency close to the artists heart, 528HZ, 528 Hertz is a frequency that is central to the “musical mathematical matrix of creation.” More than any sound previously discovered, the “LOVE frequency” resonates at the heart of everything. It connects your heart, your spiritual essence, to the spiraling reality of heaven and earth.
For this collection Williams’ footwear designs offer chic, comfortable styles that speak directly of his island inspiration. The Elastic Slip On and Elastic Lace Up boast stretch patched-tape uppers and molded nubuck heels. Both silhouettes come in a bright sky blue and sand grey options. All shoes include hyper-color liners, featuring psychedelic anatomical drawings of the human foot—a Williams touch that alludes to his imagination and creative spirit.
For SS16 adidas #originals = PHARRELL WILLIAMS ‘Pink Beach’ collection has a mini version for kids. The kids collection features the illustrated icons from the mainline that have been made mini so that kids can be part of the fun this summer. The offering includes playful pieces such as the varsity jacket, tanks, tees and shorts all available from ages 0-5.
