SsangYong strengthens aftersales service by appointing new director

Doug Lincoln has been appointed to the role of aftersales director at #ssangyong Motor #uk.

The move follows the brand’s best performance last year, when sales increased by 117% and made #ssangyong the second fastest growing new car franchise in the United Kingdom for 2015.

Mr Lincoln, 47, is a Fellow of The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), and has worked with #ssangyong in various capacities previously.  For the last five years he has been running his own service business, was previously European technical assistance engineer for Chevrolet #uk Ltd, and an area service manager with the RAC.

“I am delighted to welcome Doug back to the brand at this very important stage,” says Paul Williams, CEO of #ssangyong Motor #uk.  “His technical knowledge of #ssangyong cars is second to none.

“After a couple of years developing our sales base, we are working to enhance the aftersales experience for our growing number of customers, and Doug will also head-up the team tasked with improving the technical service and parts business for our expanding dealer network.”
