Tyre innovations for today and tomorrow: Hankook presents many highlights at IAA 2015 in Frankfurt
Hankook will again present a variety of tyre innovations at this year’s #iaa in Frankfurt. In Hall 8 booth D36 / F36, the company will present the entirely new Winter i*cept line-up for the European market. Aside from current developments in the area of future tyre technologies and new mobility concepts, the tyre maker will also present the results of the company’s cooperation with the Italian sole manufacturer #vibram for the first time. Sports fans can look forward to interviews and autograph sessions with #dtm champion Bruno Spengler, players of German football club Borussia Dortmund as well as the Sport 1 PS Profis. Premium tyre maker #hankook will present many innovations at the 66thInternational Motor Show (IAA) from September 15 to 27, 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany. #hankook is said to be the world’s fastest growing premium tyre manufacturer and counts to the five largest tyre producers by volume. #hankook delivers its products as original equipment to prestigious premium car brands such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and VW, which appreciate Hankook’s efficient, high-performance and eco-friendly tyres for their high quality and technical supremacy.
This year, the focus of Hankook’s fair appearance in Hall 8 booth D36 / F36 will be on an entirely new developed winter tyre line-up for the European markets. The new generation of the ultra high performance winter tyre series i*cept was especially developed for central and western European winter conditions and is equipped with a new silica compound. In combination with its asymmetric tread design, which is optimised for snow performance, the new winter tyre flagship #hankook Winter i*cept evo² offers enhanced driving performance on snow and superior traction in wet and dry conditions. For its design, the #hankook Winter i*cept evo² has already been recognised with the internationally acclaimed Red Dot Award. For the first time, the new tyre generation will be available in speed rating W (up to 270 km/h) as well as in a special version for modern SUVs.
By presenting the Next Driving Lab and its current Red Dot and IDEA awards winning concept tyres, #hankook responds to the guiding principle of the #iaa and displays the newest trends and technological advancements of the company’s global R&D activities. The driving simulator Next Driving Lab offers fair visitors the chance to witness the driving experience of the future. Additionally, #hankook will showcase its new concept tyres Bootstrac, Alpike and hyBlade which have been developed in close cooperation with students at Pforzheim University.

Fair visitors to the #hankook booth can look forward to these additional highlights, such as an interviews and autograph sessions with the football stars of Borussia Dortmund, Sydney Hoffmann of the PS Profis, as well as current #dtm pilots such as #brunospengler (BMW). Furthermore, sports fans will have the chance to see a #dtm race car and the official UEFA Europa League Trophy on display at the #hankook booth.
