Biennale Italy-China: the artist/musician Alessandro Zannier will play the performance “Environmental Violence 70 from Hiroshima"

Special event for the Biennale Italy-China 2015: on August 6, the day of the seventy bombing of Hiroshima, in the Citadel of Turin (from 12 pm), the artist/musician Alessandro Zannier will play in front of his picturesque and impressive installation inflatable "Chimera 7 - Little Boy, the utopia of the atomic" a piece of ambient electronic music, while in a video posted by the Faroe Islands, the performer Alice Rusconi Bodin, activist Sea Shepherd (pirate eco-activists in defense of marine life), will perform in a dance, projected in the hall, reinterpreting the air for a song of "Chimera" (Discipline/Audioglobe 2014) revisited for the occasion. Performance followed by a short concert in which the artist will sing some of his latest songs rearranged for string quartet and piano.

The performance of Zannier, entitled “Environmental Violence 70 from Hiroshima", in addition to raising awareness of a cruel and unnecessary slaughter of dolphins for pure folklore annual perpetrated by the inhabitants of the Faroe Islands, will take on the concept of invisible poison and the state of 70 years after the nuclear bomb and a few from Fukushima, who is still polluting the sea.
