Sabine Scheunert, Director of the CITROËN Brand in China and Assistant Managing Director of the JV set up by PSA CITROËN and DongFeng Motors
Sabine Scheunert becomes Director of the CITROËN Brand in China and Vice Managing Director of #Dongfeng Citroën. Sabine Scheunert, age 40, is a graduate of Germany’s FDHW business school. She began her career in 1998 with BMW Germany, where she held a number of positions in the Sales, Marketing and Product departments before joining BMW France in 2004 as Head of product strategy and planning. In 2006, she became Marketing Director of BMW Central Eastern Europe. She joined the PSA Group in 2010 as Director of Strategy and CRM. In 2013, she received the prize of ‘Manager of the Year’ from the initiative Generation CEO, an exclusive network promoting female representation in top management business positions On 1 May 2015, Sabine Scheunert takes over from Lahouari Bennaoum as Director of the CITROËN Brand in China and Vice Managing Director of #Dongfeng Citroën. She becomes the first female director of a European vehicle manufacturer in China.
