French motor sport magazine Echappement has singled out the Mégane R.S. 275 TrophyR as the winner of its much-coveted Sportive de l’Année (Sports Model of the Year) award for 2014.
With seven vehicles picking up the accolade to date, Renault is the carmaker which has won the highest number of ‘Sports Model of the Year’ trophies since Echappement introduced the award in 1982.
The Mégane R.S. 275 TrophyR was named ‘Sports Model of the Year 2014’ by a panel of Echappement journalists, drivers and readers. The purpose of the award is to highlight the car with the best sporting credentials.
The Mégane R.S. 275 TrophyR demonstrated its outstanding track abilities to the panel of motoring professionals and enthusiasts, together with its versatility in everyday driving situations.
