Jan Fabre show "Is the brain the most sexy part of the body?"
RAM radioartemobile is proud to present the solo exhibition by the Flemish artist Jan Fabre conceived as an homage to the great curator and a common friend Jan Hoet.
Visual artist, theater artist and author, Fabre is present in RAM's exhibitive spaces with diverse typologies of work re-proposing his model of thought.
The strong link that Fabre had with Jan Hoet, who he defines as “a nervous, energetic and vital man” and “impregnated in every fibre of the body by the need for art”, emerged from certain quotes that accompany his exhibited works, taken from the first two publications of the Night Diary that the artist had written from 1978 to 1984 and from 1986 to 1991.
This is a daily diary built out of scraps of thoughts, experiments, encounters and scenes from life that allow us to understand Fabre's spirit in depth...
