The Big 40 – congratulations to the VW Scirocco and up to 310 hp from ABT
It’s now the 3rd generation of the Scirocco clan. And this sports-type coupé has always got along very well with the ABT Sportsline family, always generous in terms of performance and styling.
On the occasion of this Volkswagen icon’s 40th birthday, ABT’s racks are full with exclusive upgrades. “For instance, we have real power in our portfolio,” says Hans-Jürgen ABT, the CEO of the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group: “Drivers of the original Scirocco, with its fascinating Giugiaro silhouette, could only dream of an engine with 310 hp / 228 kW.
Today we can make this dream come true in this make’s latest series. Even Volkswagen’s own R model can’t.“
