Lisa, today a successful collection thanks to its infinite material pairings and high modularity, is now proposed in the innovative Lisa Filò Nest from the Lisa Filò family designed by Marcello Ziliani for S-CAB. A cosy outdoor accent chair with a generously shaped backrest, ideal for use as a seat around the table or in a quiet nook.

The designer, Marcello Ziliani, states: “Nest. A word that means feeling welcome, protected, at ease. And this is the mood interpreted by the newest member of the successful Lisa Filò family, a tub accent chair in the same language and materials but interpreted in a sphere of total comfort, with new and unprecedented combinations of colours, finishes and textures.”

The distinguishing element of this series is the nautical rope webbing made specifically for S-CAB, expertly woven by skilled craftsmen on epoxy powder-coated steel frames for optimal weatherproofing. But that’s not all: the frame and webbing are 100% demountable, ensuring proper recycling in respect of the environment, precisely in line with the company philosophy.

It was 2017 when Marcello Ziliani and S-CAB first started working together, giving light to the first Lisa chair the following year. The chair immediately caught the attention of architects and professionals alike, demonstrating all of its strength and even winning the favour of expert jurors, as attested to by the countless international awards: the Good #design Awards in 2018 and Iconic Awards 2019, to name a few.

The 2018 Lisa indoor chair also gave way to a prolific outdoor series articulated in a variety of materials and culminating in two light Lisa Club and Lisa Filò collections consisting of sofas, chaise longues, seats, stools and a suspended Lisa Swing chair. Lisa Filò Nest is yet another product proposed by the company to create a fully equipped relaxation area, complete with a cosy accent chair.

Something new in something new, #lisafilonest opens up to new colours and pairings. The linen, sage green, dove grey and mocha frame can be paired with matching rope in the brand-new sand, clay and midnight colours. The cushioning varies too.
