Red Bull Gasgas factory racing continue the strong form in Czechia

JORGE PRADO AND SIMON LÄNGENFELDER TAKE SECOND OVERALL IN RESPECTIVE CLASSES.
The Grand Prix of Czechia, round twelve of the #2023fimmotocrossworldchampionship, provided those beneath the Red Bull #gasgas Factory #racing awning with another opportunity to chase trophies in #mxgp and MX2. Fortunately, #jorgeprado and #simonlangenfelder delivered on the old-school track of Loket.
  • Jorge Prado races to yet another podium at Czech #mxgp.
  • Prado extends championship advantage by another point.
  • Simon Längenfelder steals second podium in succession.

Jorge Prado started his Grand Prix weekend in fine form, as he stormed to pole position and claimed the ten points that go along with such an achievement. Consistency was his strength in the motos today – he secured some solid points en route to second overall in the overall classification. '61' raced to 3-2 scores. Most impressive is the fact that he has a near-perfect podium streak – he has missed out on a trophy just once through twelve races. Not missing a beat so far has helped him amass an advantage of one hundred and four points in the championship standings.

Jorge Prado: "It was not an easy Grand Prix for me – I was not feeling my best today and so I am happy to leave with a podium finish. I collected good points for the championship, so it is all positive. We are heading to a round that I like now. We will see what the sand brings!" Simon Längenfelder is making significant strides with each week that passes and the Grand Prix of Czechia was yet another positive event for him. Fourth was an impressive showing in #moto one – he advanced to that position from the lower half of the top ten – but it was the second stint where he really shined. '516' used the power in his MC 250F to take the holeshot and led for ten laps, before settling for second place in the #moto and overall classification. Längenfelder occupies seventh in the championship standings after missing three of the twelve events.

Simon Längenfelder: "It is really nice to have another podium finish. Everything has been going well since I returned from injury in Indonesia – we have already had two podiums. It was good to lead laps today too. I am excited to keep building from here. Thank you to everyone on my team!" In more #gasgas news, Francesco Assini and Tim Lopes finished first and second aboard MC 65 machinery in the EMX65 category. Nicolo Alvisi won the EMX85 class aboard an MC 85 as well! It was very exciting to see the stars of tomorrow race on the same track as their Red Bull #gasgas Factory #racing heroes. It is off to the sand now! The bottomless sand of Lommel, which is feared by riders across the globe, will host the thirteenth round of the #2023fimmotocrossworldchampionship. The final checkered flag draws closer with each week that passes.
