Announcing the Passing of Former TMC President Tatsuro Toyoda

Toyota City, Japan, January 6, 2018―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces the passing of former TMC President #tatsurotoyoda, who died of pneumonia at the age of 88 on December 30, 2017.

A private vigil and funeral has been held by close relatives, with Mr. Toyoda's surviving wife, Ms. Ayako Toyoda, representing the family.

TMC plans to hold a farewell gathering for Mr. Toyoda at a later date.
