October 4 th 2017, Paris – The Manufacture Vacheron Constantin chose the salons of the legendary Hôtel de Crillon in which to stage an international preview – for its clients and the press – of the new models gracing its Historiques collection.
Embodying the essence of 1920s and 1940s creativity, the Historiques Triple Calendrier 1948 and 1942 models, along with the American 1921 – 36.5 mm, could not have dreamt of a better setting in which to be presented: a place brimming with heritage facing the Place de la Concorde, an atmosphere tinged with neo-retro touches and humming to the tune of jazz music; a discovery of mixology with one of the Hôtel de Crillon’s masters of the art; a spirits tasting, Blackjack and roulette casino tables. Other highlights of the #event included a demonstration by a master-watchmaker working on Manufacture movements, along with a photo booth enabling guests to try on the new Historiques creations.
