De Castelli’s innovative surfaces at Cersaie 2017

De Castelli takes part for the second time to Cersaie fair presenting new floor and wall coverings made with exclusive metals and unique finishes born from ongoing research and study.

For 2017 Cersaie Edition, that takes place in #bologna from 24 to 29 September, #decastelli launches new kinds of manufacturing on surfaces.

Following current trends, these proposals enhance metals’ potential and have already been chosen by architects for international projects concerning contract and hôtellerie.

This year, with one step forward, #decastelli presents to international press and global market the results of its work. On the one side, new and original metal finishes; on the other side, an innovative solution for surfaces laying.

The latest surfaces Erosion are the result of tests and research developed by #decastelli R&D Department Manager, Filippo Pisan, matching technology and craftsmen’s skills. A precise technique that involves monitored erosion of metal and creates irregular textures that remind us of the passing of time. An extremely precise but versatile manufacture that enhances metals’ vibes and uniqueness through three-dimensional effects.

Gumdesing and Elena Salmistraro took part to this project with their personal decorative language, emerging from Arazzi and Wild Geometries collections.

De Castelli also developed a standard laying system for making floor and wall covering easier. A sort of puzzle system that guarantees ease and flexibility while placing tiles.
