Extensioni by Car-Met

Extensioni is the new #carmet collection, available on-line and in selected stores from September.
After the successful launch of Fireplace at Milan #design Week 2016, the Tuscan brand now presents a composite collection that offers furnishing and complementary solutions in which the metallic elements are combined with ash inserts and vibrant colours. Furniture designed from the perspective of people who live in their own homes, shops and offices.
Under the artistic direction of Leonardo Fortino, Extensioni comes to life on the boundary between the object and its entity as an extension of ideas, physical extension and expansion of the imagination. The way it extends the mind, is not only spatially, but mentally and emotionally too. For designers, the process of creation is expressed by a careful study of every detail, making this place tangible beyond its temporal horizon.
All the versatility of human potential, instinct, reason, and beauty are forged through the production process with simple shapes, folds, pure geometry, polyhedra, colours, surfaces, prospective variations.
"EXTENSIONI" is the result of collaboration between emerging designers who have developed projects from ideas, sensations, spatial perceptions and ergonomics studies by entrusting their creations to the entire Italian craftsmanship of #carmet. All the versatility of human potential, instinct, reason and beauty are forged through the production process with simple shapes, folds, pure geometry, polyhedra, colours, surfaces and variations of perspective.
All Around, by designer Anna Mercurio, investigates the circle as a geometric element by exploring its infinite construction possibilities, its physical, mechanical and morpho-structural characteristics. The result is a capsule collection consisting of three objects (a coat rack/mirror, a shelf and a vase holder) in which the colour becomes the furniture.
The signature series by designer Leonardo Fortino offers objects that transform themselves through the day, according to requirements, featuring a charging key in which time materializes and becomes a game.
The designer Valerio Ciampacigli from Paula Studio, has created an ecosystem of objects which are also suitable for small apartments. Versatile and multi-functional, they fit into your daily life with their simple and straightforward elegance, in true millennial style.
Lucio Curcio and Luca Binaglia propose a fresh approach that stimulates different combinations of furnishing elements (trolley, hanging lamp and tables) allowing the creation of unusual balances and a complete third millennium look in which banality is banished.
