Akrapovič Gives the Legendary Honda CBR1000RR the Look and Sound of a True Racer
Akrapovič has launched a new range of products for the latest incarnation of the legendary #honda #cbr1000rr, which will give one of the great superbikes a true racing feel and that distinctive Akrapovič signature sound. Leading the way is the top-of-the-range Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system. Designed directly from the system the Red Bull #honda World Superbike Team are using on their racing bikes in competitions around the globe, this stunning addition will lower weight by 40% by taking a huge 3 kg from the stock machine through the use of ultra-lightweight high-grade titanium. With power and torque increases to boost performance, this is simply the best Akrapovič exhaust #tuning upgrade available for the #honda #cbr1000rr. Its deep racing sound and race-proven materials show exactly where this system has inherited its character from and give the machine a true racing personality. The Racing Line (Titanium) uses the same design philosophy as the Evolution Line, but features stainless-steel headers, providing a weight savings of 20% over standard. As an introduction to performance modifications, the EC/ECE type-approved Slip-On Line (Titanium) and the Slip-On Line (Titanium) offer enhanced performance and a soundtrack to match the bike's character. Both are constructed from the highest quality race-proven titanium. The EC/ECE type-approved Slip-On Line (Titanium), finished with a hand-crafted carbon-fibre heatshield, is directly inspired to look like the WorldSBK exhaust, and the short and sporty appearance of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) will give a Grand Prix feel to the bike's appearance. It also provides an amazing weight savings of approximately 70% over the stock muffler, as well as adding a true racing tone that will certainly get the bike noticed. Optional headers are available in titanium and stainless steel for the Slip-On Line exhaust, which will turn them into full systems. To complement the range, an optional carbon-fibre muffler bracket has been designed. The Akrapovič range of exhaust systems for the iconic #honda #cbr1000rr will take this bike on to greater levels of excellence through the use of lightweight race-derived materials, increased performance, and the addition of the stunning Akrapovič signature soundtrack. This is a bike for the road and track with Akrapovič creations straight from the racetrack.
