Using Yamaha YZF-R1M machines equipped with Pirelli DIABLO™ Superbike Slick SC3 tyres, the ex-World Champion starts six days of classes at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello for those wanting to improve their track skills
Milan, 24 May 2017 – Bookings are now open for the start of 2017 edition of the Old School Racing events powered by Pirelli & Yamaha. The exclusive track riding school organised by ex-World Champion, Alex Gramigni, offers six dates at the beautiful Italian circuit of Mugello.
In cooperation with Pirelli and Yamaha, Gramigni’s Old School Racing has been further enhanced for 2017, becoming one of the most exclusive and complete experiences in the track riding school calendar. This exclusive opportunity will offer the use of Yamaha YZF-R1M machines fitted with Pirelli DIABLO™ Superbike SC3 slick tyres, the same tyres used by the riders of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship and also ideal for track days.
Gramigni, who won the 1992 125cc World Championship and later the Italian Superbike Championship, will teach just five participants per day, underling the exclusivity of the school and enabling him to follow each rider personally and providing tips for constant improvement. The €1500 price tag includes a 2017 Yamaha YZF-R1M for the six-session day, brand new Pirelli DIABLO™ Superbike slicks, fuel, photography and lunch and of course tuition by a World Champion!
Alex Gramigni’s collaboration with Pirelli for the Old School Racing powered by Pirelli & Yamaha event is in addition to his testing activities with Pirelli and his role of advisor in the Campionato Italiano Velocità (Italian Superbike Championship).
Old School Racing will be at the World Championship circuit of Mugello in Italy on the following dates:
