Extended opening hours now available across entire Volkswagen commercial vehicles network
- Extended opening hours service rolled out across entire network
- Range of options available depending on location and customer demand
- Customers offered more flexibility to reduce costly downtime
As part of its ‘Working with You’ promise, #volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced the roll out of extended opening hours across the entire network of 72 #van Centres and 24 Authorised Repairers. This means that customers can have their vehicle serviced or maintained at a time to suit them – and when they don’t need it – on demand.
The service, which is live now, sees every #van Centre and Authorised Repairer offering at least one of four following options:
Vehicle drop-off on demand up to 8pm
- Availability of Mobile Service Clinic Vans*
- Open for business 13 hours a day, three days a week or more
- Open for business 16 hours a day, three days a week or more
The extended opening hours service not only accommodates changes in business’ working hours and gives customers greater choice and flexibility, but also helps businesses minimise the impact of costly downtime. As vehicle downtime remains one of the most frustrating elements of fleet management, with this new initiative, #volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is helping customers manage their fleets proactively and efficiently.

With extended hours now available across the entire #volkswagen Commercial Vehicles network, we are further strengthening partnerships with our customers, listening to them and offering them the service they need.’
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was last month named #van Fleet World’s Manufacturer of the Year, citing add-on initiatives such as extended opening hours and ‘working With You’ as key to its success.
