Motul playing key role at Retromobile
One very well-known name connects all these elements on its stand (Stand F30, Hall 1) and is the leading supplier of lubricants to the classic car market and a partner to the trade show: #motul. 550 exhibitors, 500 cars on show and over 100 car clubs cater for an audience which not only wants to look but is also prepared to invest. #motul is this year celebrating its 60-year history and secure relationship with Jean Graton’s legendary creation, Michel Vaillant. The driver has been part of the top echelons of motor racing and rallying across the world since 1957, and #motul has been present in several of the 100 books published. Visitors will be able to dive into the Vaillant universe as the comic strip artist, Marc Bourgne, will be present for a unique Autograph Session on Motul’s stand on Saturday, February 11th from 3pm with the most recent volume which is set in Le Mans! Motul’s stand will also feature a Technical Corner where car owners and enthusiasts can seek out advice from Motul’s experts on its historic vehicles range. Classics require lubricants with special formulations to suit engines and gearboxes from different eras, and Motul’s range is made up of 4 specific lubricants (mineral monograde SAE 30 & SAE 50, mineral multigrade 20W50 and semisynthetic 2100 15W50) plus a complete variety of care and maintenance products. Advice available to visitors also includes the location of retailers and stockists. On special display will be the car revealed to be the prize winner of the “Grand Prix MotulFondation du Patrimoine” for the best historic car restoration project. Since 2008 the Fondation du Patrimoine (Heritage Foundation), thanks to its #partnership with #motul, has offered financial assistance aimed at safeguarding and enhancing #heritage motoring projects.
