The new #nissan Onroak DPi that will race in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will make its race debut this weekend at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The #nissan engine customer ESM team completed a shakedown of the new cars at the traditional Roar Before the 24 test at Daytona International Speedway, and this week the team revealed the livery for the two machines that will contest the U.S. championship in 2017.
After two years competing in the FIA World #endurance Championship, the Florida-based squad returns to full-time competition this year.
Scott Sharp will team with Ryan Dalziel aboard the No. 2 car for the full season with Johannes van Overbeek driving with Ed Brown aboard the No. 22. For the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the quartet will be joined by Pipo Derani in the No. 2 and Bruno Senna and Brendon Hartley in the No. 22.
The first on-track sessions begin Thursday, January 26, and the 55-car field will take the green flag on Saturday, January 28 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
