Guided by pure passion - LARTE Design presents new tuning overlays for Maserati Ghibli
The Tipo M157 is the third #maserati carrying the traditional name #ghibli and the first one to receive #tuning components from LARTE Design. The car’s name is derived from a hot desert wind, for which the more bourgeois word Scirocco is used in other regions – and for other cars. As to the #maserati executive saloon, LARTE Design has added only small details, which make a great difference concerning the looks. Moreover, the manufacturing quality is on a perfect level.
The small black C-shaped overlays for the front bumper convey a more vivid and fierce impression. Like brackets they are framing the air intake underneath the radiator grille and turn the attention to the cars centre. Thus, the tilted, irregular and angular shape of the overlays in connection with sharp lines make the #maserati #ghibli look much more distinctive, without impairing the elegance of the car. Customers can choose between two different materials: carbon or basalt fibre.
While carbon fibre is the “most famous” material for the construction of ultralight and especially durable car components, basalt fibre is still rather unknown in public. Nevertheless, the fibres, which are made from volcanic rock, offer a fantastic strength-to-weight ratio, high impact resistance and shock-absorbing characteristics. However, both versions share the same amazing optical effect.
Having already made #tuning kits for cars from Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover and #tesla, it simply was about time for LARTE Design to restyle an Italian car icon. After all, the company name is derived from the Italian word for art and the last photo shooting for the Missuro (Infiniti QX80) #tuning kit involved clothier Uomo Collezioni, specialized in Italian fashion – and that may be more than pure coincidence.
