Piaget - Triple Crown 2015 Final

Ellerstina #piaget played the Argentine Open #polo Championship Final on Sunday, December 12th against La Dolfina; making them the two teams who played the most matches due to their participation in each of the finals of the tournaments of the Argentine Triple Crown: Tortugas Open , Hurlingham Open and Palermo Open.

Ellerstina #piaget 2015 presented a full Pieres team; brothers’: Gonzalo (Jr.), Facundo, and Nicolás, joined by their cousin Polito, being coached by Mariano Aguerre.

In the last game of the season, Ellerstina #piaget had defensive difficulties in the first chukkers and their rival gained a significant advantage. At the final moments of the match, the Pieres’ tried to tie the match but there was not enough time.

La Dolfina: Adolfo Cambiaso (h) 10 (6 goals, four by penalty), David Stirling (h) 10 (2), Pablo Mac Donough 10 (3) and Juan Martín Nero 10 (2). Total: 40.

Ellerstina Piaget: Pablo Pieres 10 (3), Nicolás Pieres 9, Gonzalo Pieres (h) 10 (3) and Facundo Pieres 10 (6, four by penalty). Total: 39.

La Dolfina: 2-2, 5-2, 7-3, 8-4, 9-6, 11-7, 12-10 y 13-12.
