The "World Food Day" with the President of the Republic Mattarella and UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon

At Expo 2015 it celebrated the "World Food Day", attended by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon and FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva. An important day, which saw its delivery to Ban Ki Moon, by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, Maurizio Martina, of the Charter of Milan, the most important intangible heritage of the Universal. During the event, the mayor of Milan, Giuliano Pisapia, has instead delivered, always to Ban Ki Moon, the Covenant of Mayors of hundreds of major cities in the world for the implementation of sustainable urban food policies.
