'PAPER BLOOD from paper to printed work of art', at Villa Litta in Lainate, Milan

The initiative carried out under the auspices of the City of Lainate, the Friends of Villa Litta, the Museum of the press that has fixed place in the Villa; In collaboration with:
Stamperia d’Arte 74\b, Milan Printmakers Association, focuses on the promotion and exhibition of artistic fine craft European and Japanese Washi papers, with particular reference to the newly recognized World Heritage by Unesco.
The exhibition will include an exhibition of contemporary artwork made with engraving techniques on paper. In the museum of printing workshops are planned for children and adults that will be followed by the printer Moreno Chiodini, master of engraving techniques at the high school of applied art of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan; while, in the majestic hall of the music will be held conferences with artists and art historians.
The purpose of the exhibition is to promote the knowledge of the processes of creation of works of art using the techniques of intaglio printing. Enhancing the inseparable link between the papers and printing techniques; in the interplay between technology and its support and contrast graphic produced by their interaction.
